All our cakes are made using the finest quality ingredients and sourced from local suppliers where possible. We can tailor our cakes to suit your requirements and we also offer vegan options. About Us
Hello, my name is Amy, and a warm welcome to my business Wymondham Cake Kitchen. I am fully insured & registered with a 5 star food hygiene rating from South Norfolk Council and I have completed my hygiene level 2 & Allergen training. I specialise in buttercream cakes particularly bespoke beautiful floral creations.
My passion for baking started at a very young age. Every year my mother would bake me a birthday cake and I would sit on the kitchen stool fixated, closely watching her mix all these magic ingredients together to form the most delicious, light & fluffy sponge cake. Ever since then my passion for baking has grown and at school, I excelled in home economics lessons. Over the years I took every opportunity to bake for family and friends and whenever there was an occasion, I would always somehow find a need to bake a cake for it!
During the pandemic I decided to turn a hobby into a business and took the plunge and enrolled in numerous professional cake decorating courses and have never looked back. It has always been a dream of mine to do something you truly enjoy, and nothing gives me greater happiness than creating something truly beautiful and delicious. As my motto goes, “Life is short, so eat plenty of cake!”
